Run: Tonight was the third Tuesday in a row I have done my intervals workout of 1 mile warm up, 5x1000m w/ 60 sec rest, 1 mile warm-down. My goal going in, considering I am still feeling the 50+ miles from last week in the legs, was to hold each one under 4:20 and improve a bit over the total 5k time from last week. Much to my surprise the results were faster, and by a decent bit.
Here is the table:
| Interval Sets | 30-May | 3-Jun | 10-Jun |
| km1 | 4:49 | 4:21 | 4:12 |
| km2 | 4:47 | 4:18 | 4:04 |
| km3 | 4:32 | 4:22 | 4:11 |
| km4 | 4:31 | 4:22 | 4:15 |
| km5 | 4:08 | 4:12 | 4:11 |
| Theoretical Total | 22:48 | 21:38 | 20:53 |
As mentioned previously, I don't know much this workout will act as an indicator for my 5k race in two weekends, but I am seriously hoping it is at least close.
